Soprano Joanna Zorack-Greene is a graduate of the University of Maryland, from which she received a Masters of Music in Opera and Bachelor of Music degrees in Piano and Vocal Performance.
Recent performances include Dalinda in Handel’s Ariodante (2019),Barbarina in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro(2018), Rachel in Kurt Weill’s opera-oratorio The Road of Promise (2018) Königin der Nacht in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte (2017) and La Fée in Viardot’s Cendrillon (2017). Joanna has LAO sung as the soloist for the Fauré Requiem and for the Rutter Requiem. She was a semifinalist in 2018 and 2019 for the Annapolis Opera Competition and a national semifinalist in the 2018 NATS competition.
Joanna teaches private piano and voice lessons in northern Virginia and in on the music staff at the National Presbyterian Church in DC.
