Margo Gray is delighted to be joining Really Spicy Opera for the first time as the Assistant Stage Director for Rigoletto. A Minneapolis-based stage director and theatre-maker, she has worked with Wolf Trap Opera, Punchdrunk, and the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre. As the founding Artistic Director of Prologue Theatre Co. in Chicago, she directed world premieres including Take Her to See the Maco Lights, I Carry Your Heart, and The Cat’s Meow: A Vaudeville. While on a Fulbright Fellowship, she worked with American and Russian students at the Moscow Art Theatre School to improve movement pedagogy. She also studies interactive and immersive theatre and writes for ContemporaryPerformance.com.

Margo holds an MFA in Directing from Carnegie Mellon University and a BA from Grinnell College.
