Carson Rose Schneider

Collaborative pianist and coach Carson Rose Schneider is an active
coach and performer of art song, opera, musical theatre, chamber and instrumental music in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. She has also given recitals throughout the United States and Europe.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Carson has recorded music for a broad swath of virtual programs including Social Distance Opera, Really Spicy Opera’s Aria Institute, and live-streamed recitals. Prior to the pandemic, she was the pianist for Arbeit Opera Theatre’s
Rape of Lucretia, pianist and music director for Lyric Opera of the North’s outreach tour and Skylark Opera Theatre’s Most Happy Fella. In 2019, she was on the faculty and staff at Bay View Music Festival,
Lakes Area Music Festival, and Fargo-Moorhead Opera.

Carson also maintains a home recording studio and a private coaching studio, and is the pianist and choir accompanist at Union Congregational Church in Elk River, MN. In the 2018 season, she was a Herndon Foundation Emerging Artist at Virginia Opera, a resident artist coach at Opera North in Lebanon, NH, and completed her first season at Fargo-Moorhead Opera. She holds a DMA in Collaborative Piano and coaching from the University of
Minnesota in 2017, where she studied with Timothy Lovelace.
